Help, Winter Is Coming!
Cosiness, Christmas, heater on and hanging on the couch with some hot chocolate. I think the winter season is a wonderful time. But my hair certainly thinks otherwise. It becomes static from the woolen scarf. Because of the heater the hair gets a lot dryer, with all the annoying consequences. Not the best time for your hair and skin. But luckily with some extra care and attention, we can make your hair a bit easier to handle with the right products. Now you’re probably thinking: another range of products that won't be of any use after the winter. Fortunately, that's not entirely true.
This time I’m going to talk about a specific line from Keune Haircosmetics' Care products: the Keune Care Satin Oil line, with the Satin Oil Treatment in particular. The name actually says it all… Oil. In this nicely scented line of Keune an oil has been added. With a reason of course. Who doesn’t want shiny hair that isn’t frizzy and seems dry. The product line consists of a Shampoo, Conditioner, Mask, Milk, and the Treatment. For those who always miss a bit of shine in their hair and have hair that quickly becomes static and frizzy, the Shampoo, Conditioner and Mask are definitely recommended. The Milk is also a very nice product for hair types that quickly become heavy from a mask.
The Treatment is a personal favorite, because I use it almost daily. I’ll tell you why I do it. The Treatment is a nice serum that feels quite lumpy. I myself often use it when I’ve blow-dried or curled my hair with a curling brush/curling iron. A small drop after it has cooled down and my hair is nourished and protected again. Plus(!) it makes it shine and my hair doesn’t get heavy. That’s one of the reasons why I find it indispensable on my dressing table.
Reason two is that I also use this same product as an addition to my normal hair care when my hair needs it, like in the winter months. I myself use the Tinta Color Care line from Keune in combination with the Keratin Smooth Mask. My own hair has to endure quite a lot in these months, and it could definitely use a little extra care. What I like to do is add one pump of Satin Oil Treatment to my Conditioner or Mask. The Treatment provides the extra care my hair needs! It doesn’t even take any more time and I don’t have to buy another product, because I’m using it anyway.
What do you do, to take care of your hair during the cold days?
